She was predeceased by : her parents, Hugh Angus MacIntyre and Jessie Ann MacIntyre (MacLennan); and her siblings, Isabel MacIntyre, Kenneth and Donald.

She is survived by : her husband Earle (Lodge Function); her children, Anne (Philip) of Braeshore, Robert of New Glasgow, Kenneth of Yuzhno-Sakalinsk, Russia, Marilyn (Vickie), Alan of Calgary, Helen MacGregor (Byron) of Big Island, Brenda Campbell-LaPierre (Keith) of Truro and Hugh (Janet) of Halifax; her grandchildren, Lauchie MacDonald (Meaghan), Alan MacGregor (Megan Fraser), Andrew MacGregor (Kelsey), Brennan MacDonald, Krista Marie MacLane (Greg), Daniel MacDonald (Josie Jordan), Kyle Campbell, Anne-Marie Campbell, Judith LaPierre, Eldon MacDonald, Yara MacDonald and Sarah Marie MacDonald; and her great grandchildren, Thomas George MacGregor and Maggie Marie MacGregor. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Donations in memory of Marie may be made to the Union Presbyterian Church or to the Thorburn Cemetery Association.
