Christopher Douglas Patrick Power Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Christopher Douglas Patrick Power of Timberlea, Nova Scotia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 26, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Power and Florence Power (MacIsaac); and his in-laws, Donald and Janie Dobson (Longley). He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Stephanie of Timberlea and Colin (Erica) of Hubley; his grandchildren, Wren and Neve; his siblings, Patricia (Brian Jollymore) of Bedford, Nora (Tony Crawley) of Hubbards, Shawn (Stephanie Smith) of Porters Lake and Tara (John Lockerby) of Timberlea; and his uncle Lloyd MacDougall of Inverness. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St Catherine of Siena Catholic Church (6476 Bayers Rd, Halifax, NS B3L2B1). A reception will be held on Tuesday, September 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Brunello Golf Course.
