Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Alan MacDougall of Trenton, Nova Scotia, born in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, who passed away at the age of 76, on February 5, 2024. He was predeceased by : his parents, Carl MacDougall and Viola MacDougall (MacMillan) of Trenton; and his brothers, Charles Ellis and Wayne "Oscar" Hawboldt. He is survived by : his caregiver Norma (Spears); his brother Jim (Terri) of New Glasgow; his niece Amanda of Trenton; his sister Karen Mill (Jude); his nephews, David and Paul of Moncton, NB; his siblings, Bob (Sharon), Burton Hawboldt (Rhonda) and Anne Gerrior (Rob); and his friends, Renie Currie, Linda Stephenson, Jacob and Kaitlyn Pentz.

Donations in his memory may be made to the Palliative Care Unit c/o Aberdeen Health Foundation.
