He was predeceased by: his parents, Lila MacArthur and Ross MacArthur; his siblings, James Arthur "Art" MacArthur and Christine "Dee" Doris Middlemiss; his mother-in-law Helen (Cecil Polley); his brother-in-law Scott (Robert Polley); and his nibling Gail MacArthur.
He is survived by: his wife Dolores MacArthur (Polley); his children, Jacqueline Crosby (Wallace), Scott MacArthur (Elizabeth), Ross MacArthur (Jackie) and Stephen MacArthur (Angela); his nieces and nephews, Carolyn Deveau (Larry), Cathy Smith (Rod), Rob Middlemiss (Terri), Daryl MacArthur (Ginny), Michael Polley, Matthew Polley and Mitchell Polley (Kait); his grandchildren, Tara Crosby (Greg), Christa Crosby (Jason), Angela MacArthur-Gillman (Dan), Ian MacArthur (Kelsie), Garret MacArthur (Caitlin) and Alison MacArthur (Steve); and his great grandchildren, Jenna Sullivan (Justin), Aiden Sullivan, Jacob Webber (Amber), Jack Sullivan, Brooks MacArthur, Ellis MacArthur, Hayes MacArthur, Mila MacArthur, Calla Gillman, Gracie Gillman and Connor Gillman.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the R. H. Porter Funeral Home (73 High St, Trenton, NS B0K1X0). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the First United Church (81 High St, Trenton, NS B0K1X0).
Donations in Jack's memory may be made to First United Church in Trenton.
