He was predeceased by: his brother Gerald. He is survived by: his wife Eleanor DeCoste; his daughter Norma-Jean DeCoste; his granddaughter Ally; his son Joey DeCoste (Emily); his grandchildren, Chase, Walker and Madison Moulton; his siblings, Rita Nugent of Ottawa, Anita Murray, Bessie Dierk (George), Faye McIvor (Joe) of Merigomish and Wayne (Marjorie); his siblings-in-law, Marie MacLellan of New Glasgow, Cathy Crowell of Sask, Norma DeCoste of Trenton, Ivan DeCoste (Ann) of The Ponds and Allen DeCoste (Janet); River. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and grand nieces.

Donations in his memory may be made to the Dialysis Unit, Pictou, where Larry spent the last 8 plus years receiving treatment.
