He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcel Doucette and Anna Doucette; his siblings, Joey, Eric, Ritchie, Gary "Gibby", Gerry and Faye; his nephew Christopher; his siblings-in-law, Vernon Hoare (Mary Jean) and Evelyn (Gerry); and his parents-in-law, George Reynolds and Lyda Reynolds (Forward).

He is survived by: his wife Shirley (Reynolds); his daughter Jennifer (Shaun Reid); his grandchildren, Bailey and Nolan MacDonald; his siblings, David (Karen), Bobby (Carol), Kenny (Denise), Leon (Sue), Joan (Dave MacKay), Lorna (Gerry Wadden), Patsy (Glen MacKinnon), Mary Jean and Brenda; his sister-in-law Pat (Gary "Gibby"); and his extended family, Marilyn Chiasson (Ron), Marion McCarron (Philip) and George Reynolds.
