Anne M. Lake Obituary

The world bids farewell to Anne M. Lake (Truro, Nova Scotia), born in Amherst, Nova Scotia, departing peacefully on April 1, 2024. Anne leaves behind memories cherished by the community. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

In bidding Anne adieu, let us not mourn the silence that now fills the spaces Anne once occupied, but rather celebrate the vibrant colors she painted upon the canvas of our lives. For while she may have departed from this earthly realm, her spirit remains a beacon of light, guiding us through the darkest of nights.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Albert L. Fillmore and Vera V. Fillmore (Billet); and her brother-in-law Gary Yorston. She is survived by : her husband David W. Lake; her daughters, Kimberly Lake Amherst (Jaczar) and Krista Lake Settle Truro (Paul); her siblings, Charlotte Yorston and Rob Fillmore; and her granddaughter Chanel Da Silva (Drake). She is also survived by nieces and great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Andrew's United Church, Canadian Cancer Society, or, Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia are welcomed.
