She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Johnstone and Clarissa Johnstone (Tutty); her husband Alton Leo Rushton; her siblings, Pearl Johnstone, Betty Johnstone and Robert Lee Johnstone; her brother-in-law Irving Murray; her niece Kimberley Reid; and her great-nephew Joseph MacKenzie.
She is survived by: her children, Brad Rushton (Marilyn), Fort Ellis, Alton Jr. (Michelle Veno), Kemptown and Annette Bray (John); her grandchildren, Jessica, Hailey, Jamie and Laura; her great grandchildren, Ella and Emmett; and her siblings, Ardith Lambourne (Dale), Masstown, Joyce Reid (Neil), Marjorie Murray, Janet Johnstone (Wayne MacMeekin), David Johnstone (Carol), Salmon River and Billy Johnstone. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
