It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bessie Audrey (MacDonald) MacMeekin (Truro, Nova Scotia), who passed away on October 26, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Daniel and Charlotte (Dykens); her husband Bill; her son Randy; and her siblings, Doris MacDonald, Edith MacDonald, Danny MacDonald, Kenneth MacDonald (Pauline), Deverne MacDonald, Stacey MacDonald and Payson.

She is survived by : her children, Wayne MacMeekin (Janet), Glen MacMeekin, Kemptown, Heather Canton (Tom) and Sandra Petrie (Fran); her brothers, Rodney MacDonald (Esther), Onslow, Ronnie MacDonald (Shirley) and Westchester; and her sisters-in-law, Audrey MacDonald, Dorothy MacDonald, Betty MacDonald, Onslow and Sharon MacDonald. She is also survived by grandchildren; 16 dear great grandchildren.
