He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac Blois and Inez Blois (Carter); and his brothers, Gerald, Graham and Logan.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Lou Blois (Stronge); his children, Lee Blois, Karla Blois (Mike) of Truro and Jason Blois (Jane) of Truro; his grandchildren, Austin Gillis, Emma Cummins and Addison Blois; and his brothers, Keith Blois (Martha) of Salmon River and Wayne Blois (Carol) of Onslow. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
