She was predeceased by: her parents, Lambertus "Bert" Vissers and Theodora "Thea" Vissers (Teunissen); her brother Bert; her brother-in-law Murray; and her nephew Derek.
She is survived by: her husband Roger; her children, Cindy (Jason), Jim (Becky) and Laura (Trevor); her Border Collie Rudy; her grandchildren, Austin, Blake, Travis, Sam and Lilah; her siblings, Mary Harbers (Leo), Thea Toole (Robert), Ann Mowatt (Bruce), Jack (Beverley), Arnold (Theresa), Peter (Anja), John (Nancy) and Ronald; her niece Nicole Cox (Vern); and her friend Patti MacDonald. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Varner Funeral Home (55 Young St, Truro, NS B2N3W6).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Kathy's memory may be made to Parkinson Society of Nova Scotia, Canadian Addison Society, or Pine Grove Cemetery.
