She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Rushton and Mabel Rushton (Hanson); her son Donald; and her grandchildren, Jeremy Weatherbee and River Maberry.
She is survived by: her children, Anne Carter (Isaac Adams), Jeannie Weatherbee (Andrew), Timmie Rushton (Linda), Kelly Rushton and Gordie Maberry (Corrinne).
In honour of Catherine's love for dogs and all animals, donations in her memory to Colchester SPCA are welcomed.
