She was predeceased by: her husband Wayne LeRoy Burris; her parents, Robert T. Boyd and Edith Boyd (Field); and her brother Lloyd H. Boyd. She is survived by: her children, Janice Guinan (Dave), James Burris (Karen) and Krista Lehtinen (Barry); her grandchildren, Tomas Guinan (Shannon), Alan Guinan (Janine), Kaitlyn Hardy (John), Hannah Guinan, Cassie MacLeod (Lachlan), Cynthia Buchanan (Jim), Christine Best (Ben), James Burris (Laura), Sasha Howell (Dane), Caleb Wayne Lehtinen (Melani) and Kidron Lehtinen; her great grandchildren, Elijah Guinan, Eden Guinan, Dominic Guinan, Lydia Guinan, Evelyn Guinan, Emmett Hardy, Soren Hardy, Renia Hardy, Ivy MacLeod, Nev MacLeod, Rian MacLeod, Alexis Buchanan, Logan Buchanan, Isaac Best, Zoe Best, Eli Best, Oliver Best, Tobias Burris, Phoenix Burris and Wesson Wayne Howell; and her brothers, Robert Boyd (Mary) and Philip Boyd (Judy Church). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and many long-time friends.
A life-long volunteer, she dedicated countless hours to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, where she worked tirelessly to support life-saving research and community health.
