He is survived by: his wife Birgit Renate Katzer; his family, Zyanya (Matthew), Calida (Jamie), Chenoa, Caleb and Andrew; and his grandchildren, Eliana, Jerric, Alexandre and Kailani.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 10th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (148 Evergreen Dr, Truro, NS B2N7E2).
