He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Piers and Ada Z (Davidson); his former wife Marion (Dooley); and his siblings, Dora and Jack.
He is survived by: his wife Pauline Leger; his brother Bob (Carol); and his sibling's children, Judy Piers-Kavanaugh (Wayne), Angela Purcell (Mike) and Nick Piers. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, extended family.
