It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Delmar Lemuel Cavanaugh (Truro, Nova Scotia), who passed away on December 5, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Cavanaugh and Lottie Cavanaugh (McNutt); and his siblings, Larry, Leonard, Hazel and Gail (Reid).
He is survived by: his spouse Colleen; his children, Tammi McNutt (Eddy), Rhonda McNutt (Terry), Karen MacPhee (Sean) and Darrell Patton (Shelly); his grandchildren, Leah Marchand (Joey), Paige, Drew, Jacob McNutt, Matthew, Nicholas, Charlotte Patton and Spencer MacPhee; his great grandchild Max Marchand; and his siblings, Dean (Agnes), Layton (Margie), Florence Smith (Wayne), Marilyn Gilby and Dora Walker. He is also survived by extended family and friends, watching his beloved Montreal Canadiens, his Saturday afternoon drives and travelling to various rinks over the years to watch his grandsons.
