He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Betty Davidson; his children, Lynn Deagle of Edmonton, AB, Krystal (late Allan), Amanda Deagle Truro (Jason), Melanie Deagle and Bruce Deagle Pictou (Ashley); his brothers, Raymond Davidson (Pat), Ronnie Davidson (Pictou), Steven Davidson (Pictou), John Davidson (Westville) and Kenneth Davidson (Beaverbank); his grandchildren, Ginny Swanson, Emilie Swanson, Derek Brown, Russell Brown, Kaidan Deagle and Dustin Deagle; and his great grandchildren, Ember Swanson and Lily Swanson. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
