He was predeceased by: his son Gregory Ward; his parents, John Hamilton and Alice Hamilton (Webb); and his siblings, Ellen, Cecil, Carl, Shirley and Betty.
He is survived by: his wife Kathryn (Roper); his sisters, Lori, Jenny, Carrie and Debbie; and his aunt Natalie.
