He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Shipley and Carol Shipley (Curtis). He is survived by: his wife Jennifer (Marple); his children, Holly, Sarah, Elizabeth, Samantha and Austin; his granddaughter Chelsey; his sisters, Lula (Lew) and Becky; his sister-in-law Crystal (Glenn); his niece Nicole; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jana, Trevor, Cheryl Justine, Morgan (Jake), Shawn, Emily, Nickolas and Huntleigh.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Varner Funeral Home (55 Young St, Truro, NS B2N3W6).
