It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eleanor Mae Powell (Truro, Nova Scotia), born in Aquaforte, Newfoundland, who passed away on August 28, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, George Croft and Mary Croft (Morris); and her siblings, Jean Payne (David), Madonna Dalton (Mick) and George Croft (Marg).

She is survived by : her husband John; her children, Myles Hayden, Alberta, Wanda Boocock (Ian), Shubenacadie East, Katrina Ingram (Mike) of Richmond, UK and Louise McCarthy (Mike); her grandchildren, Shannon (Mike), David (Chelsea), Karl (Alannah), Devon, Ethan, Charlotte and Megan; her great grandchildren, Remi, Bria, Jonny and Josie; and her sister Esther Barrett (Richard). She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews.
