It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elizabeth Ann Blaauwendraat (Truro, Nova Scotia), who passed away on March 23, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her father Ronald Maskill. She is survived by : her mother Lorraine Maskill (Weatherbee); her husband John H.; her children, John R. Blaauwendraat (Jaime), Marie Harrison (Chuck), Beaver Brook, Brian Blaauwendraat (Brianna) and Princeport; her grandchildren, Ava Harrison, Johnny Blaauwendraat, Ella Harrison, Nora Blaauwendraat, Hendrik Blaauwendraat, Brett Blaauwendraat and Zoe Blaauwendraat; her siblings, Phil Maskill (Debra Humphries), Tim Maskill (Georgina Taylor) and Penny Augustine (James); and her uncle Phil. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 30th 2021 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Varner Funeral Home (55 Young St, Truro, NS B2N3W6). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 31st 2021 at 1:55 PM.
