She was predeceased by: her parents, Eldon Dunn and Evidene Smith Brown (Tibbitts); her husband Logan H. Mattatall; the father of her children Joseph A. Babineau; her siblings, Blair of Vaughn and Jessie; and her daughter-in-law Rosealee Babineau.

She is survived by: her sons, Mike (Mary) of Truro, Jack (Carol) of Truro and Steve Babineau (Jean) of Truro; her stepchildren, Heather Bowyer (Craig) of Brenda Topshee and Spencer Mattatall; her grandchildren, Jeff Babineau, Tracey Babineau, Annette Hanson and Casey Babineau; and her stepgrandchildren, Bradley Bowyer, Nicole Olynyk, Michelle Young, Jamie Topshee, Heather Topshee-Harvie and Logan Mattatall.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Eva's memory may be made to the Breast Cancer Foundation or to the Hospice Society Truro would be appreciated.
