It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Florence Isabella (Blackmore) Shearer (Truro, Nova Scotia), who passed away on March 6, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stearns Blackmore and Esther Blackmore (Tattrie) of McCallum Settlement; her husband Alexander Shearer; her sons, Curtis, Elmer, George, Alexander and Perry; and her siblings, Blanche Messervey, Daisy MacLeod, Freda MacRae, Gladys MacKenzie, Addie Currie, Hazel Johnson, Murray Blackmore, Ernest Blackmore and Norman Hingley.
She is survived by: her children, Teddy (Marg) of Belmont, Roach (Leona) of Belmont, Russell (Donna) of Belmont, Eric (Donna) of Belmont and Terry Lynn (Kevin) of Belmont; her brother Newton Hingley (Darlene); her son Alex; and her granddaughters, Jessica and Jocelyn. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
