Gavin Pearston Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gavin Pearston (Truro, Nova Scotia), who passed away on April 16, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Gavin Pearston and Ethel Pearston (Swaine); his parents-in-law, Elmer and Agnes Chestnut (Cole); his grandson Christopher Beal-Ramirez; his sister Grace Belding; his siblings-in-law, Robert Chestnut, Warren Glass, Gilles Desjardins and Judy Prodger; and his nephew Gavin Hearn.

He is survived by: his niece Connie; his wife Ruth (Chestnut); his children, Gina Neves (Edward), Scott Pearston (Kelly) and Diane Pearston (Steve Spears); his grandchildren, Anthony Pearston (Tina) of Truro, David Pearston (Jessica) of Truro, Wyatt Pearston (Bree Rushton) of Truro, Nicholas Pearston of Truro, Michael Pearston of Truro, Angelina Pearston of Truro, Matthew Beal of Alberta, Kayla-Dawn Pearston of Alberta, Mark Beal-Pearston of Alberta and Justin Pearston Robertson (Savannah) of Alberta; his great grandchildren, Myles, Harper, Shilo, Alexander, Jack, Christine and Oliver; his siblings, John Pearston (Marg) and Jean Pearston-Desjardins; his siblings-in-law, Arnold Chestnut (Sally), George Chestnut (Bev), Richard Chestnut (Geraldine), Arthur Chestnut, Margaret Anne Dauphinee (Andy), Valley, Elizabeth Glass and Mabel-Lynn Dickson (Ernie); and his cousins, Cindy Harris and Hebert Moyer. He is also survived by friends, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions, a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
