He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman MacPherson and Margaret Ann MacPherson (MacAulay); and his siblings, Elwin, John, Norman and Rachel Eileen (Raylene).

He is survived by: his sister-in-law Lois; his niece Tanya Gradet (Alex); and his nephew Elliott. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
