He was predeceased by: his parents, William James and Effie Belle Ferguson (Hayman); and his siblings, Frances MacBain (Langille), Alexander, Katherine "Kaye" Carter, Anne Harris, Evelyn Thompson, Donald, Janet Thompson, Dorothy Murphy (Cameron) and Henry.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ferguson (Beck); his sisters, Christine Townsend of Riverview, N. B. and Irene Ferguson; and his siblings-in-law, Kenneth Beck, Muriel Beck and Marion Beck. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
