With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Isabel Macdonald Vibert Moffitt (Truro, Nova Scotia), who passed away on June 18, 2018 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband James C. Vibert; her former husband Emerson Moffitt; her brother Eugene MacDonald; and her granddaughter Elizabeth Akerman. She is survived by: her children, Marjorie (Bert Akerman), Ann (Glynis Ross), Jim (Kim MacDonald), Elizabeth (Todd Hatfield) and Mary (Doug Brown); her grandchildren, Katherine (Barry), Michael (Leslie), Will, Isaac, Emma, Jim, Bella and Abe; her stepchildren, Eric Moffitt, Celene (Geoff Lyon) and Laurie (Michael Barr); her stepgrandchildren, Trevor, Barclay, Lee, Heather and Vanessa; her sister-in-law Betty Ashley (Oran); her spouse Jim Vibert; her child Isabel; and her friend Emerson Moffitt. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
