He is survived by: his wife Alice (O'Connell); his sons, Dana and Dwayne; his grandson Colin Curren (Hannah); and his nieces and nephews, Julie Shand (Ken), Heidi Langille, Ancel Langille, Sarah McKenna, Terry Moore, Trevor MacKay and Christopher McKenna.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Ivan's memory to Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia or Colchester Food Network are welcomed.
