It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Edward Gregory Probert (Truro, Nova Scotia), born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on March 7, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles "Chuck" and Eileen Probert (Roma); his sister Deborah Probert; his daughter Sarah Probert; his brother Arthur Probert; and his brother-in-law Joseph Doucette.

He is survived by: his children, Holly Probert and Joel Probert (Sandra); his siblings, Carol Ann Cook (Michael), Eileen Pelham (Harold), Hilda Schnare (Stephen), Sharon Doucette, William Probert (Mary Ann) and Charles Probert (Holly); and his grandchildren, Chastin, Nathan, Arec and James. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
