It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Henry MacNeil (Truro, Nova Scotia), born in Sydney, Nova Scotia, who passed away on September 13, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles MacNeil and Catherine MacNeil (Lynk); his former wife Geraldine (Walsh); his wife Rhoda May (Langille); and his siblings, Charlotte Gillis, Freeman MacNeil and Grant MacNeil.
He is survived by: his children, Cathy (Bunny) and Tom (Lynn); his grandchildren, Ryan MacNeil (Amanda), Jonathan MacNeil (Odessa), Nictaux, Beth MacLean (Stephen) and Megan Thompson (Ashley); his great grandchildren, Emma, Aiden, Cameron, Brennan, Emily, Harper and Finleigh; his siblings, Jessie Hilborn, Fraser (Brenda) and Brian (Betty); his stepdaughter-in-law Brenda Black; his siblings-in-law, Dorothy Beebe, Edie MacNeil, Coxheath, Herman Langille (Margaret), Valley, David Gillis and Sydney; and also Fern Walker (Paul). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
