It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Seaman Rector (Truro, Nova Scotia), born in River Hebert East, Nova Scotia, who passed away on April 29, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parent Seaman Rector; his wife Marion Edith Rector (Fletcher); and his brothers, Gerald and Morris. He is survived by: his parent Roberta Rector (Porter); his children, Cheryl Woodworth (Wayne) of Central Onslow, Terry (Glenda), Leonard of Bible Hill, Steven (Denise) and Belmont; his grandchildren, Mandi, Michelle, Sarah, Joseph, Nicole, Mitchell, Allan and Matthew; his great grandchildren, Cruz and Quinn; his siblings, Sandra "Sandi" Galloway-Howell (Colin) and Dara Rector (Elaine); and also Oakfield. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Joe's memory to McCulloch United Church or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia are welcomed.
