Kenneth Stanley Marchant Obituary

It is with sadness that the passing of Kenneth Stanley Marchant (Truro, Nova Scotia) is shared. Kenneth passed away on June 16, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry "Chick" Marchant and Nina Marchant (Beare); his wife Ethel Longley; his son Jeffrey; his granddaughter Samantha Michelle; his siblings, Helen Duncan and Ronald Marchant; and his close friend Cheryl Pearce.

He is survived by: his children, Kim Watson (Dale) and Steven; his grandchildren, Nicola (Andrew), Lincoln (Kiersten), Lucas (Ally) and Declan Watson; and his great grandchildren, Ophelia and Fisher Watson.

In keeping with his generous spirit, Ken made the selfless decision to donate his body to Dalhousie University for medical research and education. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations in his memory be made to Dalhousie Department of Medical Neuroscience.
