She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Don Edmonton (Mary), Greg Valley (Shirley), Kevin Dartmouth (Deborah) and Sherrie Elmsdale (Calvin); her grandchildren, Greg (Brenda), Terri (Rick), David (Nicole), Roy, Kevin Troy (Carrie), Jeffery and Connor; her great grandchildren, Alexander, Eric, Lachlan, Ryan, Holly, Emma and Ashley; her brother-in-law Robert MacNeil (Bob) of Bible Hill; her niece Patsy Bates Dartmouth (Len); and her husband Donald Lewis MacNeil. She was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Gertrude's memory to the Truro Hospice Society.
