He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Austin and Pearl Austin (Mooring); his wife Marilyn (Godfrey); his son Mark; and his siblings, Henry, Wilfred and Natalie.
He is survived by: his sons, Tim (Carol) and Paul (Sherry); his daughter-in-law Debby; his grandchildren, Joshua, Rachel, Benjamin, Andrew, Jasta and Jodi; and his great grandchildren, Joshua, Ruby, Henry, Maya, Felix, Austin, Marley and Mauve. He is also survived by several nieces and, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Varner Funeral Home (55 Young St, Truro, NS B2N3W6). A burial will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Collingwood Wyvern Cemetery (635 Wyvern Road, Collingwood Requested Charity Canadian, Food Grains).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Leo's memory to Canadian Food Grains or Soul's, Harbour are welcomed.
