He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Black and Ruth Black (MacLeod); his siblings, Irene Taylor (Joe), Blanche Thorburn (Toby), Frances Taylor (Fred), Malcolm Black (Verneata), Carman Black (Bonnie) and Donald Black (Betty); and his sister-in-law Anne Black.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon (Higgins); his daughter Krista Black (Scott MacLean); his grandchildren, Devin Black, Erika Heim-Black and New Glasgow; his great grandchildren, Charleigh Black, Harmony Black, Rainn Black, Ravin Black, Cabja Mastenbroeck and Kyleigh Heim-Black; and his brothers, Winston Black (Sharon), Ronald Black and Marshville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
