He was predeceased by: his parent Daniel Marshall; and his siblings, Roderick, Gardner, Ernie, Carson, Edna, Lena, Belle, Annie, Bessie and Loretta.

He is survived by: his parent Margaret Marshall (Cavanaugh); his wife Carol Lucille Marshall (Roode); his children, Rob (Sarah) and Judy Marshall of Truro; and his stepchildren, Brian Nichols (Kathy), Barry Nichols (Denise), Upper Belmont, Randy Nichols (Gloria), Robbie Nichols (Fanny), Kathy Morrisey (Roger), Sherry Nichols of Truro, Nancy Lee-Owe (Pascal) and Gail Nichols of Fall River. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
