Myrna Gertrude West Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Myrna Gertrude West in Truro, Nova Scotia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 1, 2026 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Percy Carter; her husband Arthur; her brother John; and her daughter-in-law Kim. She is survived by: her mother Gertrude Carter (MacKay); her sons, James (Charlene), Richard and Jason (Angie); her grandchildren, Tiffany, Hayden and Taylor; and her siblings, Pat and Lorne. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Ettinger Funeral Home (2812 NS-2, Shubenacadie, NS B0N2H0).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
