We are sad to announce that on February 7, 2021, Nancy Elizabeth Richards (Truro, Nova Scotia), born in Fredericton, New Brunswick passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, William Richards and Margaret Richards (Fraser). She is survived by : her brother James F. "Jim" (Judy); her niece Mary Richards; her nephew Bill Richards (Elizabeth); and her great-nephews, Daniel Richards and Nicholas Richards.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2021, Reverend Valerie Kingsbury officiating; webcasting of the funeral service will be open to all and may be viewed from this site at 10:55 a. m., Saturday, February 20, 2021; this link will remain active for some time after the funeral.

If so desired, donations in Nancy's memory to a charity of choice are welcomed.

“I am so very saddened to learn of Nancy's passing. My sincerest condolences to her family and all, especially the health care workers who had the benefit of working with Nancy. In reflecting on my career in health care and I speak of the standout managers I have known, I start with Nancy. She was exceptional in her ability to observe, to evaluate, and she had the wonderful wisdom and humanity to play to people's strengths. To top it off, she had the most wonderful sense of humour. RIP Nancy.”
