He was predeceased by: his parent Leonard Collins; and his siblings, Elmer, Clarence, Aileen, Jessie and Edith.

He is survived by: his parent Lydia Collins (Burgess); his wife Margaret Collins (King); his children, Phillip Jr. (Rebecca), Tara (Keith), Christina (Gary), North River, Jeffery (Kim) and Debert; his grandchildren, Brooklyn, Rylan, Corey, Riley and Danny; his great grandchild Myla; and his siblings, Marge (Donald), Gary (Shirley) and Green Oakes. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Donations in memory may be made to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Truro.
