It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Vernon Roode (Truro, Nova Scotia), who passed away on February 22, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Donald Murray and Elizabeth Rose "Betty" Roode (Stewart); and his siblings, Brenda, Debbie, Raymond and Joe.

He is survived by : his children, Joshua Roode (Nicole Decoste) and Jennifer Roode (Joey MacDonald); his grandchildren, Rylan, Easton, Nora and Jimmy; his close friend Brenda Roode (Nelson); and his siblings, Leo (Wendy), Peter (Kelly), Carol (Fred), Maxine (Kenny), Jackie and Linda. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
