He was predeceased by: his parents, John Robert and Martha Murray (Morrison); his children-in-law, David Reid and Cathie (Hawco-Murray); and his siblings-in-law, Mary Harvey, Annie Stewart, Hazel Murray, Bill Stewart and Herman Harvey.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Lee (O'Brien); his children, John (Iryna), Nancy Reid, Pugwash (Barry Stubbs) and Angevine Lake; his grandson Jordan Reid (Megan); his stepgrandsons, Oleksandr Lavreka (Hanna) and Mykyta Lavreka (Maddison); his great grandchild Jay Reid; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Polina, Stefaniia, Smith and Mila; his brother Vernon Murray; and his nieces and nephews, Michael Murray, Gary Murray (Donna), Jim Stewart (Mary Ellen), Tim Stewart (Anne), Sarah Hart (Garry), Terri Perro (Jim) and Karen MacGillivary (Gerard).
