He was predeceased by : his parents, Rudolf Marko and Judica Marko of Austria; his wife Mechthild; his close friend Monica Costandi; and his daughter Gwendalina.

He is survived by : his children, Elgin, Arne, Peter and Gesine; his grandchildren, Joseph, Simon, Madeleine, David (Elgin), Marika, Marcus, Jazzmin, Elizabeth, Alexander (Arne) and Nicolas; and his children, Constantine and Lily.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Rudolf's memory to Lillian Allbon Animal Shelter in Amherst, a charity he supported with Monica, are welcomed. (http://www.laanimalshelter.org).

“Rudolf was a kind soul and he will be missed by all of us, as well as our pets. His love of our outdoor kitty “Charley” who would go visit when he was outside and his “talks” with our dogs every time he saw them in the yard will be missed. We will miss our waves and warm welcomes in the morning while out tending his beautiful garden area. Our thoughts are with his family, Jean, Tanya, Aidan and Marcia”
