Ruth Reid Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 9, 2025, Ruth Reid (Truro, Nova Scotia) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ruth Reid to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, W. Richard Ballinger and Lillian May Ballinger (Oldham); and her husband George Leonard Reid. She is survived by: her daughter Cathy Lanctot (Guy); her granddaughter Elena; her daughter Peggy Weatherbee; her grandchildren, Janet, Darcy, Jacob and Tara; her son David Barrett; her grandsons, Jeremy, Bryson and Noah; her children, Helen Barrett and Leonard Reid; her grandchild Riley; and her friends, Dee Stein and Susan Lynds. She is also survived by several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
