Shirley Henderson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Henderson (Truro, Nova Scotia), who passed away on July 9, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald and Beatrice (Wellwood); her former husband John Henderson; her husband Harold "Ducky" Frizzell; her son Randall Stephen Henderson; and her siblings, George Chapman, Lloyd Chapman, Eldon Chapman, Leona Tam, Donna Chapman and Gail MacKibbon.
She is survived by: her children, John Henderson (Bonny), Jeff Henderson and Lori Frizzell (Shane MacDonald); her grandchildren, Natasha Henderson, Christina Henderson, Jordan Otterson, Cody Frizzell, Hannah MacDonald and Adam MacDonald; her great grandchildren, Ethan, Carson, Avery, Boone and Milo; her siblings, David Chapman and Geraldine Wheaton (Mike); and her brother-in-law Peter Tam. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Varner Funeral Home (55 Young St, Truro, NS B2N3W6). A burial was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at the Terrace Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Shirley's memory to Colchester SPCA are, welcomed.
