Shirley Yvonne Mackay Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 31, 2019, Shirley Yvonne Mackay (Truro, Nova Scotia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Daniel MacQuarrie and Emma MacQuarrie (MacRae); her children, Gary MacKay (Mary Ann) of River John, Irma MacDonald (Cam) of Truro, Robert MacKay (Sharlene) of Milford and Joyce Saulnier (Jim) of Bible Hill; her grandchildren, John "Jody" Totten (Tammy), Dawn Hauser (Tom), Quentin MacKay (Linda), Danny MacKay (Katie) and Anna MacKay (Chris Currie); her siblings, Margaret Roode of Truro and Edwin MacQuarrie (Carol) of North River; her brother-in-law Elmon Langille of New Annan; her close friend Hazel MacKeen; her husband Milton Robert MacKay; her son-in-law John Totten; and her siblings, Isaac (Violet), Carl (Lola), George, Florence and Paul. She was also cherished by eleven great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.
