He was predeceased by: his parent Walter Lane; his stepson Troy; and his brother Clarence. He is survived by: his parent Margaret Lane (Ross); his wife Norma Lane (Robinson); his daughters, Tricia Fox (Kevin) of Bible Hill, Darlene Richard (Jeff) of New Glasgow, Althea Lane (Charlie) of Salmon River and Wanda Lane (Robert) of Trenton; his grandchildren, Angi, Josh, Andrea, Peter, Holly, Andrew, Nathan, Emma and Aaron; his great grandchildren, Austin, Jacob, Jase, Autumn, Jensen and Alexa; his sister Althea Upham (Raymond) of Chicago; and also, Tanner, Sue and Vicki Lynn-Marie.
Donations in memory may be made to the Palliative Care Unit of CEHHC, Truro, Diabetes Canada or to the Colchester East-Hants Hospice Society.
