She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Bradley and Effie Bradley (Trousdale); her husband William; her children, Gwendolyn Nerpin and Edwin Reynolds (Kim); and her siblings, Donald, Gwendolyn, Ralph, Phyllis Wright (Gordon) and Lorraine McKillop (George).
She is survived by: her children, Adelia MacKenzie (Albert) and Willie Reynolds (Darleen); and her brothers, Wendell Bradley, Sydney River and Aubrey Bradley (Loretta). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Varner Funeral Home (55 Young St, Truro, NS B2N3W6). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Truro Gospel Hall (51 Young St, Truro, NS B2N3W6).
If so desired, donations in Verna's memory to VON (Colchester East Hants) or Palliative Care Unit (Colchester East Hants Health Centre) are welcomed.
