He is survived by : his spouse Shirley Dixon; his children, Shelly (Gordie), Marlene (Greg), Sherry (Jeff), Evelyn (Wayne) and Kevin (Christine); and his brother Robert Turner. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 106, Debert.
