It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Douglas Johnston (Truro, Nova Scotia), who passed away on January 6, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henry Johnston and Eva Johnston (Bigsby); his wife Sandra Anne (Falle); his daughters, Lesley Johnston of Calgary, Alberta, Bev Waldron (George Chestnut) and North River; his grandchildren, Ryan Dyer (Yan Yang) and Aaron Waldron (Meagan Hart); his great grandchild Hunter Waldron; and his siblings, Elizabeth McCabe (Gordon) of Truro, Carolyn Moore (Paul) of Dartmouth and David Johnston (Marsha) of Truro. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
