He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Redford and Isabella A. Merritt (MacKinnon); his former wife Betty (Fields); his wife Faye (Condon); his brothers, Russell and Lorne; his half-siblings, James, Bruce and Laverne; and his stepmother Agnes Merritt.
He is survived by: his half-brother Jack; his stepdaughters, Collette, Kathleen, Elizabeth and Barbara; his sisters-in-law, Marion Work, Betty Merritt (Bruce) and Linda Merritt (Russell); and his stepsiblings, Kenneth Merritt and Linda Wade.
Donations in Bill's memory may be made to the Harmony Cemetery, or to First Baptist Church Truro.
